I present to you a magnificent, rare, and massive Belgian officer's saber, model 1889. Gilded bronze mount. Guard with four branches decorated with oak leaves. Filigree horn handle. Blade engraved with etching: "FOR THE KING AND THE HOMELAND" marked: "VAN ROOSBROECK BRUSSELS" + knight's head from SOLINGEN at the heel. Blade in its original condition with signs of age, good condition. Smooth steel sheath with one ring, complete. Good condition, mount and handle in very nice shape. A rather rare piece, practically unobtainable! Very pleasant to hold and admire in a display case! Superb and rare piece, completely original!
