I present to you a magnificent, rare, and massive Belgian officer's saber, model 1889. Gilded bronze mount. Guard with four branches decorated with oak leaves. Filigree horn handle. Blade etched with "FOR THE KING AND THE HOMELAND" monogram of Albert I + coat of arms of the lion of Belgium + 2 squirrels from Carl Eickhorn at the heel. Blade in its original condition with traces of time, good condition. Smooth steel sheath with one ring, complete. Good condition, mount and handle in very nice condition. A rather rare piece, practically unobtainable! Very pleasant to hold and to admire in a display case! Superb and rare piece, completely original!
