We have taken a maximum of photos of the defects so you can assess the condition. Sold as presented. Henri Rivière (1864-1951) is a French painter, engraver, and illustrator. He began his career with drawing, then moved to printmaking in soft-ground and specifically etching in 1882. At the same time, he embarked on a career as a director and set designer, in 1886, for the shadow theater at the Chat Noir cabaret, enhancing performances by creating innovative colored sets. He later devoted himself exclusively to painting and engraving, establishing a significant place in the history of etching, printmaking, wood engraving, lithography, and watercolor (he painted around a thousand watercolors).
