These swords were produced at the end of the 19th century. The blade was mostly made in Germany. Forged here by the famous manufacturer ''WAFFENFABRIK'', known primarily for its MAUSER C96.

Beautiful and rare Swiss cavalry officer's sword. The grip is made of white steel, very robust as it should be on this type of model, with a unique branch guard and the leather thumb attachment still present. The handle is made of wood, covered with ray skin (RARE), no play, very solid. The blade is in excellent condition, still shiny, engraved with the ''Swiss cross'', marked at the heel: ''ULR BOMMER & CIE ZURICH A + BALANCE + C''. The scabbard is made of metal, also in excellent condition, very solid, stamped. This magnificent sword was found in an attic between the Belgian and French borders, and it is 100% original and in excellent condition.
