Superb German saber known as '' a la Blucher ''. In use in the Prussian cavalry and infantry. Based on the 1811 model, which was used from the Napoleonic Wars (notably at Waterloo) until the mid-20th century. This saber was largely inspired by the English model known as '' Model 1796 '', with the typical guard shape and curved blade, which is said to have wreaked havoc in the French army.

Blade with central fuller showing signs of age, leather scabbard in good condition with a ring and its knot. Handle with chrome, filigree, and leather. Piece in its original state from the 19th century!!! Very rare and 100% original! Prussian gendarme sabers are very uncommon on the site, especially in this more than exceptional state.
