Model of the so-called "butcher" with a large sawback BLUTCHER. Prohibited after the end of the Great War, it is quite difficult to find examples with a sawback, as only those lost during the war were preserved, those recovered by the Army or the enemy being destroyed or modified.

Rare and very beautiful massive bayonet, sword-type, S98/05 for Mauser, dating from World War I. Wooden handle with 10 grooves and two rivets on each side, no play to clean. Shiny blade with a central groove and saw teeth, marked at the heel on both sides: "WEYERSBERG KIRSCHBAUM & CIE SOLINGEN" and on the edge "L with crown, 16 and D with crown." Scabbard in bronzed steel, in its original condition, pitted and needs cleaning. Marked at the entrance "D with crown." Very beautiful and rare piece, in superb state of preservation. Very rare in this condition, 100% original guaranteed. Very pleasant to hold in hand and even more to observe in a display case!
