Superb gilded brass guard (with a thin layer of gold) with a branch and inlaid mother-of-pearl plates. Decorated keyboard with a relief depiction of the imperial eagle from the Second Empire. Wooden grip with diagonally striped mother-of-pearl plates, festooned gilded brass ferrules. Very beautiful straight blade with hollow sides, engraved "GOLD AND BLUED" (90%) on its first third with foliage and military trophies. With its scabbard, adorned with gilded bronze, scabbard engraved with initials "H.E." (very rare)!!! Truly a very beautiful specimen, very pleasant to handle and hold. It still shines in its display case, really a beautiful and remarkable piece, very rare to sell and 100% ORIGINAL!
