The kandjar (or kanjar, khandjar, cangiar) is an Eastern white weapon. It is, notably, the wide and curved-bladed dagger worn at the waist by men in the Sultanate of Oman during ceremonies. It slides into the belt, silver or leather, which holds the dishdasha, the traditional outfit.

Very beautiful and rare '' Khandjar / Koumia ''. The handle and scabbard are richly decorated with silvering. Very clean blade with two central grooves. Beautiful and very solid short saber/dagger, rare in this state of preservation. Stamped at the heel, scabbard in chiselled silvering (silver-plated?). With its original belt. The blade is in good condition with signs of wear, needs cleaning! A very beautiful piece found in an attic in its original condition! A very beautiful and sumptuous piece that is becoming rare in good condition and especially complete! Very pleasant to hold in hand and even more to observe in its display case! 100% original!!!
