The kandjar (or kanjar, khandjar, cangiar) is an Eastern cold weapon. It is specifically the dagger with a very wide and curved blade worn at the waist by men in the Sultanate of Oman during ceremonies. It slips into the belt, made of silver or leather, which holds the dishdasha, the traditional costume.

Very beautiful and rare "Khandjar / Koumia." The handle and scabbard are richly decorated with silver plating. Very clean blade with two central grooves. A very beautiful and solid short saber/dagger, rare in this state of preservation. Stamped at the heel, scabbard with embossed silver plating (silver-plated?). With its original belt. The blade is in good condition with signs of aging, needs cleaning! A very beautiful piece found in an attic in its original condition! A very beautiful and sumptuous piece that is starting to become rare in good condition and especially complete!
