Superb German sword known as "Ã la Blucher." In use in the Prussian cavalry and infantry. Based on the 1811 model, which was used from the Napoleonic Wars (notably at Waterloo) until the mid-20th century. This sword was largely inspired by the English model known as "Model 1796," with its typical guard shape and curved blade, which, it is said, wreaked havoc in the French army.
