Beautiful German saber known as "Ã la Blucher." In use within the Prussian cavalry and infantry. Based on the 1811 model, which was used from the Napoleonic Wars (notably at Waterloo) until the mid-20th century. This saber was largely inspired by the English model known as "Model 1796," with the typical guard shape and curved blade, which reportedly wreaked havoc in the French army.

Blade with a central fuller, completely engraved with etching on both sides with signs of age, black scabbard with original dagger. Black leather grip! Engraved blade: "FELD. ART REGT.V.SCHARNHORFT (1.HANNOV.) N10 KONING KARL (1 WURTT.) N10 - PENINSULA. WATERLOO GOHRDE." Pure WW1 piece RARE!!! Very rare and 100% original!
