The kandjar (or kanjar, khandjar, cangiar) is an Eastern cold weapon. It is notably the dagger with a very wide and curved blade worn at the waist by men in the Sultanate of Oman during ceremonies. It slips into the belt, either silver or leather, that holds the dishdasha, the traditional costume.

Very beautiful and rare "Khandjar / Koumia". The handle and sheath are richly decorated with silver plating. Very clean blade with two central grooves. Very beautiful and sturdy short sabre/dagger, rare in this state of preservation. Stamped at the heel, sheath with sculpted silver plating (silver-plated?). The blade is in good condition with signs of age, needs cleaning! A very beautiful piece found in the attic in its original condition! A truly beautiful and sumptuous piece that is starting to become rare in good condition and especially complete! Very pleasant to hold and even more enjoyable to observe in its display case! 100% original!!!
