Historical context:

The German SG 42 bayonet is inspired by the Swiss knife M1943. The manufacturer had the idea to introduce a Swiss knife into the handle with a few additional accessories. It was mainly used by paratroopers and some high-ranking officials. Approximately 1,200 units were produced.

Very beautiful reproduction of the SG42 dagger/bayonet. Black checkered handle. The blade is clean and shiny, and the sheath still has its black paint. With its functional Swiss knife and the mechanism in the handle also working. A very beautiful dagger, completely homogeneous, very rare and faithful to the original. Very pleasant to hold and just magnificent when displayed in a showcase, a real gem! Truly very rare in this condition!
