Description:
Magnificent and rare Swiss sabre "model 1878 cyclist" with its mounting model for the bayonet. Superb handle in gilded brass, with a checked grip. The blade is very beautiful and features the following markings "GEBR WEYERSBERG SOLINGEN" as well as "the Swiss cross" on the other side accompanied by the stamps "1553" and "80", model of sapper with saw teeth, one side of the blade flat, the other with a central groove! The sheath is in very good condition, cuir and brass model of the cyclist with its bayonet! Very, very rare. It is different from the French model by its straight finish of the sheath and its saw teeth on the blade. The piece is 100% original guaranteed! Piece from my collection, I am letting it go due to lack of space!
