Description:
Stunning and rare Swiss "experimental" sword with its iron scabbard. Gorgeous gilded brass handle with grooves, inspired by the French model. The blade is beautiful and features the markings "WESTER & C° SOLINGEN" as well as the "Swiss cross" on the other side accompanied by the stamps "9694" and "84," a saw-tooth sapper model! The scabbard is in very good condition, with a few minor dents, an experimental model since scabbards of its type are typically made of leather with brass fittings. The small screw and the original leather strap are still present. It differs from the French model by its straight finish on the scabbard and the saw teeth on the blade. The piece is 100% original guaranteed! A piece from my collection, I’m selling it due to lack of space!
