The H.J. was created during the pre-WW2 period when social education held a predominant place. Very quickly, this youth movement took on a colossal role within German ideology, to the point that at one time it had over six million members (both male and female). On December 1, 1936, a law made the H.J. a mandatory community for all German youths of fourteen years old.

Knife/dagger of the H.J. The item is in good condition, complete with its suspension leather and sheath. The sheath has black paint. Beautiful blade in its original condition, in good post-WW2 state, with a sawtooth edge (very rare!). Inscription on the belt: "BARRY TADUIN." Belt with its superb lily-shaped buckle, also present on the sheath handle, inscription: "BOY SCOUTS BE PREPARED." Whistle covered in chrome metal in good condition.
Beautiful and rare classic edged weapon, in its discovery state and especially complete!
