The H. J. was created during the pre-WW2 period, when social education held a prominent place. Very quickly, this youth organization would take on a colossal role within the German ideology, to the point that at one time it would count more than six million members (both male and female). On December 1, 1936, a law made the H. J. a mandatory community for all German youths aged fourteen.

H.J. knife/dagger. The piece is in good condition, complete with its suspension leather and sheath, modern manufacture. The sheath has black paint (plastic or Bakelite?). Beautiful blade in its original condition, in good post-WW2 condition, with a sawtooth edge (very rare!). Inscription on the tang: '' F. E. S. ROSTFREI ''. Nice and rare edged weapon, quite classic, in its discovery condition and especially complete!
