Blade length: 82.4 cm

Grip length: 15.4 cm

Very beautiful and rare Persian or Afghan cavalry officer's saber, probably inspired by the Russian gold weapon model 1827. The blade is still shiny, in its original condition with signs of time, needing cleaning, still featuring its original brown leather wrap with its original sheath with two rings. The grip is superb with its original shiny gold plating with two engraved branches. A magnificent and very rare saber that could easily decorate your display case intended for swords from the era of the last Tsar Nicholas II, but also from the Afghan or Persian army. Very rare and 100% original guaranteed! A very beautiful piece, pleasant to hold and even more enjoyable to admire in a showcase. A stunning saber that has still retained its period luster! Very rare in this condition and 100% original, a must grab urgently!!!

THE LOT: SABER + SHEATH

I acquired this magnificent saber for my collection, but I am parting with it for financial reasons and I hope it finds a prime spot in another enthusiast's showcase.
