The Kingdom of Prussia (in German: Königreich Preußen) was an erstwhile European state formed in 1701 and incorporated in 1871 into the German Empire, of which it was the main component; it disappeared in 1918 when Germany became a republic.
The Kingdom of Prussia became a state of European rank under the reign of Frederick II (1740 – 1786) and then played a crucial role from 1792 to 1815 as an adversary of France (Wars of the Revolution and the Empire), from 1815 to 1866 as an adversary of Austria (unification of Germany excluding Austria), and in 1870-71 once again as an adversary of France (Franco-Prussian War).

Beautiful handle with filigree and black leather, monogram of Emperor Wilhelm II, as well as a functional keyboard called "clapper", shaped like the Prussian eagle, handle engraved differently. Double squirrel marking at the heel: "C.E." (Carl Eickhorn). Superb straight blade with two central grooves. VERY NICE BLADE, in good condition, to be cleaned. Rare version with a two-ring scabbard! A rare piece in its condition, to be cleaned, for any discerning collector! Very pleasant to hold and even more to observe in a display case! Very rare and 100% original!
