Pair of French armchairs dating from the years 1955-1960, attributable to designer Louis Paolozzi, a collaborator of the Zol, Brandt, and sometimes Steiner houses. Possibility of forming a set of 4 armchairs (2nd pair currently for sale in my shop). These iconic pieces perfectly illustrate the French post-war modernist style: elegance, comfort, and sculptural design. - "Wing" armrests, wide and enveloping - Trapezoidal seat - Slightly flared backrest - Period wood and foam structure, typical of high-end French productions from the 1950s. Yellow velvet in very good condition, clean, bright, without snags. Perfect stability. As often seen in armchairs from the 1950s-1960s, the original foam shows signs of natural fatigue that can be felt (slight internal fragility in the armrests). This is a classic phenomenon inherent to old upholstery. It does not alter the appearance or structure, but an interior refurbishment may be considered according to the comfort requirements of the buyer.
