Pair of famous "Snowball" candlesticks in blown glass, designed by Ann Wolff for the Swedish manufacturer Kosta Boda since 1973.
More than just a candlestick, the Snowball model has become a classic of Scandinavian design. It is said to have originated from an experiment of blowing hot glass directly into a pile of snow, giving rise to this organic shape and irregular surface reminiscent of a snowball. Its texture captures and diffuses the candlelight in a soft and warm manner, evoking childhood snow lanterns and long Nordic winter evenings.
The two candlesticks are in very good overall condition. Note: there are a few tiny chips on the underside of one of them, discreet and not visible when in use.
Sold as a pair.
Dimensions: 9 x 7.5 x 9 cm / Candle diameter: 5 cm.
Careful packaging. I respond to all your questions regarding the items and their delivery. Feel free to explore my store Bibelot & Co.
