Very elegant oyster service from the 1970s, signed Moulin des Loups (Orchies, France). It consists of 10 pieces in fine earthenware: 8 plates and 2 large serving dishes.

The dishes each have 14 compartments. The plates have 7, including one in the center, ideal for a half-lemon, a sauce, or samphire.

The relief decoration of shells stands out in a gradient of moss green, fading into a bright white with subtle gray-green hues. The effect is very successful on a festive table, suitable for oysters as well as various seafood.

The pieces have the manufacturer's mark on the back ("Grand fire decoration - Dishwasher safe - Made in France").

In very good general condition for a set of over 50 years: it shows only very slight signs of use, including a small chip in the glaze on the edge of one plate (see photo).
