I am selling part of my collection, including this magnificent and hard-to-find Belgian police commissioner saber, in exceptional condition! With a unique feature: a saber inspired by the French model 1882 (rare and highly sought after) in its original mounting! Blade in its original condition with a central fuller, perfectly fitting in its scabbard, engraved with "Jules Fonson" and "For the King and the Fatherland." The grip is made of white metal with its filigree and a lion covered in gilding (very rare)! Generally, these sabers are incomplete (no filigree, no scabbard...). I have rarely seen this complete model in 25 years of collecting! Truly impossible to find!
