This type of chair was proven at KOHN in 1913/1915 under No. 537, it is found after the Great War in 1920 and 1925 at Thonet under No. 391/XV, then in 1928 still at Thonet with No. A537 , resurgence of Kohn's launch number which at that time passed into the fold of the Thonet-Mundus-Kohn group! Fischel took care of it and produced it on a large scale in Austria and France until at least 1935. Cambier in Belgium also produced it in 1930. The model is not common, however here we have a caned example with very Art-deco foot connection arches which must not have lived in a bistro and could have come to us in its original appearance. Very good condition, must be used daily, solid, reliable. Seat height: 47 cm, seat: 41X40, total height: 94 cm. Caning redone during life, very good condition. Thonet Tchéco label under the seat. More photos and information on request. Shipping France and Europe, withdrawal. Alsace.
