Set of 6 chairs No. 221 by Thonet with arch No. 27 (see Zentral Anzeiger from May 1905). The No. 221 chair by Thonet is acknowledged to be from around 1900, it is a piece of living room furniture that moves away from bistro models while maintaining strength and lightness. Beautiful 7 branch palmette made of cut plywood. Capitals at the top of the front legs. In very good original condition, produced in 1910, typical color of that era "mahogany."
