I present to you a magnificent and rare kepi/pontus from the Belgian gendarmerie, inspired by American kepis, particularly those from the American Civil War, dating probably from the first part of the 20th century (to be verified). The kepi was found in an old wardrobe. Made of black embroidered fabric. Leather and gold braid. Discovered as is in its original condition. A very beautiful piece in its original state, very rare for sale. A remarkable piece in its original state and patina that will delight any enthusiast of Belgian militaria!!!
