The Parachute Regiment, commonly known as the Paras, is an airborne infantry regiment of the British Army regarded as one of the best elite units in the world. The first battalion is permanently under the command of the Special Forces. The other battalions are part of the British Army's rapid response component. The Paras are the only infantry unit that has not been merged with another unit since the end of World War II.

Nice dagger probably from the French military parachutist during the Algerian war, dating from the 1950s-60s. The handle is made of metal covered with black leather. The blade has a single large groove, triangular in shape, in superb condition. Old leather sheath with a fastening system, stamped: "LE COMANDO INOX MARQUE & MODELE DEPOSES SUPER-NOGENT"! The blade is beautiful and shiny with some traces due to age, in its original state. A stunning piece in its original discovery condition, a must-have for any paramilitary enthusiast! Very pleasant to hold and even more to observe in a display collection!
