Very rare, magnificent panel or table screen, decorative, made of hand-carved rosewood from China or Indochina, circa 1850-1900, 19th century. Base decorated with a trunk on a rocky base, branches and leaves on the right with a standing crane symbolizing luck positioned on the base. The trunk is topped with a large disc decorated in its center with a sun framed by clouds or other symbolism. A very beautiful and rare antique object of exceptional quality, with rich and understated details. Not signed. Total height 53cm, maximum width 25-26cm, approximately 7cm thick. Very good condition, rare wear such as wood cracking, a bit visible from the top to the middle of the disc, a few discreet friction marks. One branch possibly broken at the back, a very discreet old accident, almost invisible from the front. A collector's item and antique. Approximately 1100kg.
