LIGHT CAVALRY TROOP SABER, MODEL 1816, RESTORATION.

Brass frame, three-pronged guard numbered “94”, short-tailed cap, wooden handle covered with brass filigree leather. Curved, flat, uncut and unedged blade with back edge engraved “Manufacture Royale du Klingenthal April 1821”. Blade marked “L” by F.L. Lobstein, reviser from June 1804 to July 1821 and another illegible mark. Main branch hallmark “B” under star of J.J.C. Office, inspector from February 1819 to March 1822.
Under the plate number 474 and hallmark “B” of first class controller J.G. Bick, from May to August 1824. Under the quillon stamp erased.
Length 93 cm, width at heel 3.1 cm, thickness 1cm
Leather tie
Steel scabbard with two bail rings ending in an asymmetrical stinger registered 60R

Saber length 108 cm and 110 cm with sheath

Weight: approximately 1900g

P.S: As you can see, this saber has had several uses, at that time we didn't throw anything away, we recovered and transformed!!
