Superb imposing decorative sculpture of Venus, a nude female torso, made of glazed art stone and signed in light brown with a sandy texture. Section from the chest to the top of the thighs. Signed craftsmanship JMB, to be identified, dated 06/90 on the left side. Nice curves, brutalist & modernist style, reminiscent of an ethnic and primordial Venus. It stands on its back, 26cm in length, 15-16cm in height, approximately 22cm in width. Very good condition with some firing cracks, a small chip or manufacturing grain on the right nipple. Very heavy. 8kg.
