GILBERT FRANCOIS BOCQUET STERLING SILVER CUP ART NEW 1900 NOODLE M529 This cup was made by Gilbert-François Bocquet. This artist has few results for sale, however we report significant results, up to over 1500 euros for a cut. We did not find a hallmark, yet it is solid silver, beautifully made. This cut is typical of the Art Nouveau period, very eventful, very Nouille style, close to metro entrances or historic interiors like La Cigale in Nantes. The Parisian metro entrances, created in 1900 by the architect Hector Guimard, contributed to the reputation of the rail network by adopting the codes of Art Nouveau, also called “Nouille style” by its detractors at the time. The whole is hammered on the top with beautiful recoveries on the base. We did not push the cleaning to the maximum. We report friction and micro-scratches from use for the most picky, it remains in excellent general condition for the time. It weighs a significant weight of 780 g. Our many photos allow you to appreciate the quality of the object. For the state thank you for detailing the photos. Do not hesitate to zoom. The photos are an integral part of the description. Dimensions: Height: 12 cm Diameter with handles: 26 cm Tray diameter: 18 cm Leg diameter: 17.5 cm D: 865912 I remain at your disposal for any questions.
