A characteristic piece of French production from the 1960s-1970s, combining handcrafted ceramics and decorative resin. The lampshade: cylindrical in shape, made of resin including numerous shards and fragments of amber, gold, and copper colors, creating a highly sought-after granular and luminous material effect in Accolay production.

Light passes through the resin and reveals the richness of the chromatic inclusions. The base: turned ceramic, with a curved and bulging shape, covered in a cracked white glaze accentuated with fine black stripes and speckles applied in a spiral, typical of the scarified slip work practiced by the potters of Accolay.
