Nice duo of teapot and milk jug from the vintage years 60-80, made of black pearlescent glazed stoneware, with subtle silver reflections, branded Grès Village, French craftsmanship. Relatively uncommon in this shade. The teapot is relatively large, has a good capacity, completely round with a nice lid, a large handle, and a short spout, measuring 16-17cm in height with the lid, 12-13cm in height without it, approximately 16cm in maximum diameter, and 21cm in total length (spout + handle). The small milk jug is shaped like a small bulbous pitcher, with a more frothy glaze, speckled with small bubbles. It measures 11-12cm in height, 12cm in maximum width with the handle, and 9cm in maximum diameter. No chips or cracks, however, the teapot has a number of relatively visible small scratches and abrasions, but they are not really bothersome; the jug has some as well, which are more discreet. The teapot weighs about 1kg and the milk jug 500g.
