Vintage table lamp in glazed ceramic and chrome metal – 1970s

Characteristic table lamp of Seventies design, combining a caramel brown glazed ceramic base with chrome metal accents.

The turned body features a stepped baluster profile with successive projections (narrow neck, wide shoulder, fluted base), typical of French or German ceramic production of the time.

The glossy brown/caramel glaze, homogeneous and shiny, highlights the play of turned volumes. Mount: circular base in chrome metal, socket fitting also chrome — a highly sought-after metal/ceramic finish in 1970s occasional furniture. Shade: cylindrical drum in woven vegetable fiber resembling raffia/jute, honey color, cream lining and trim. Period: 1970s. H. 60 cm D. 30 cm Light signs of aging on the chrome metal.
