Set of 2 bistro chairs by Jacob and Joseph KOHN No. 48 from around 1890, there are several versions of this model that have evolved over time. Here it is with a ring connection of the legs and a round wooden seat, in a "dark oak" shellac color, a classic of bistros from the 1890s/1900s. We have been able to preserve the patina of time and the traces of the different phases of renovation. ---- Very beautiful and in good condition, stable and solid ready to serve ---- Under the 2 chairs, there is the stamp J & J KOHN. Kohn filed a patent around 1884 for fixing the front legs with metal screws, solid and easy to assemble in the branches of various European countries. The supports, optional in the catalog, contributed to their current beautiful condition!!
