Thonet Armchair No. 19/1, also known as Halbfauteuil or "ladies' chair". Very beautiful new caning (manual 2.2X2.4mm), of very fine craftsmanship. The stamp indicates a production date of 1910. A numbered metal plate is close to the stamp and is likely associated with an inventory number in an administrative organization. The No. 19 is not very common and hard to find. Seat height: 48 cm, seat dimensions: 45X45 cm, total height: 98 cm - Overall: 60 cm. It is in a mahogany American shade with a beautiful original patina.
