The old arms factory of Toledo is located in the Spanish city of Toledo, in Castile-La Mancha. Since 1998, the complex has been occupied by the University of Castilla-La Mancha, forming a scientific and technological campus. It is characterized by the presentation of a set of well-preserved old industrial buildings, with architecture of exceptional beauty and great quality, never seen in Spain in the last two centuries.

Superb and luxurious Spanish ceremonial officer's sword in Mameluke style, from the period 1960-70, with plastic or Bakelite (to be verified) grip. The handle is made of gilded bronze with floral patterns and military symbols, as well as a red cross. The blade is clean and still shiny with its original gilding marked "Toledo." The sabre is quite clean with traces due to aging. It probably dates from the mid-20th century (to be verified).
A superb piece that can easily decorate your collection of Spanish sabres or exotic European sabres, marked from the prestigious manufacture of "Toledo"!!!
