Very beautiful old sugar bowl or candy dish made of pressed glass, molded, transparent, with a slight violet tint. 1930s-40s. Round bowl with a scalloped edge, on a pedestal with a scalloped edge, topped with a rounded lid adorned with a pretty tassel as a handle. Reliefs with a diamond grid texture and small circles on the body edge. Approximately 17cm in height with the lid, 10.5cm without, 14cm in diameter. Good condition for its age, although the body has two small discreet chips; the lid, on the other hand, has a number of chips and nicks on the edge, which are discreet when closed. A few other small signs of aging, including superficial internal scratches. Weighs about 1kg.
