Superb collectible vase from the pottery workshop of Tamnay-en-Bazois, in the Morvan, a testament to the regional production of decorative ceramics.

In a baluster shape with a flared neck, it rests on an matching pedestal. Its flambé glaze, particularly expressive, plays on a rich palette of turquoise blues, anise greens, fuchsia pinks, and deep purples, speckled with black, creating a marbled and vibrant effect close to the “crackled” technique or the “chiné” glaze beloved by the regional pottery of the 20th century.

Iridescent and pearlescent reflections punctuate the body, enhancing the relief and depth of the decoration. Dimensions: height 38 cm — diameter approximately 25 cm. Condition: very good condition, with no apparent restoration. Origin: workshop of Tamnay-en-Bazois, Morvan.
