Pretty solo vase or sake bottle, Tokkuri, ceramic/earthenware with crackled glaze, hand-painted/enamelled. Vintage Japanese production from the 60s-80s, Satsuma, signature to be identified under the base. Elongated oblong shape, flared top, small short and narrow neck with a turned-up rim. White ceramic with slightly yellow/beige transparent glaze, hand-painted/enamelled wildflower motifs on the front, stylized, in shades of green, pink, red, white, blue, and gold. Small frieze motif at the rim of the neck as well. Nice glaze effects at the neck and base. 20.5 cm height, approximately 9-9.5 cm max diameter. Very good condition, light wear on the right side of the motif, small tint in the cracks very discreet, gildings slightly muted by time, also discreet. Small manufacturing defect at the neck, slight discreet deformation. Approximately 800 grams.
