Very beautiful elongated oval hollow dish, suitable for use as a fruit bowl, decorative bowl, or catch-all, breadbasket... Made of embossed brass with silver-plated metal, unmarked, late 19th to early 20th century. Art Nouveau or rocaille style, with arabesques on the edge, borders, acanthus leaves, full handles on both sides, adorned with patterns. All motifs are embossed, hollow on the back. Maximum length 34cm, maximum width 23cm, maximum height 3.8cm. In nice condition considering its age, it shows inevitable signs of time, scratches, and small spots of oxidation, discreet overall, harmonious as a whole and well cleaned. Approximately 250g.
