Superb and very rare American sword from around 1861-65 with its very rare scabbard, well-preserved. The blade is in good condition, with original patina, engraved, marked "A" on the guard (owner's initials). The scabbard is leather with bronze fittings. The entire piece dates from late 1862 (American Civil War). Blade with original patina with traces of chrome. 100% original, comes from my collection, selling due to lack of space!
