Rare piece. A beautiful glazed ceramic vase attributed to the Faïencerie de Thulin, Belgium, circa 1920 - 1930. Particularly sculptural and organic shape. The upper part adorned with a blend of celadon green, water/mint green, turquoise, and brown, applied in irregular drips. Generously rounded body, extended into a tumultuous upper part, animated by large pierced handles that seem to flow from the neck. Sinuous lines, almost vegetal, halfway between Art Nouveau and Art Deco. The lower part covered with a deep, shiny black glaze. Turquoise interior. The base features a recessed shape number.
