Delivery service: Colissimo Roland BOURIGEAUD (Born in 1920) He lost his mother in 1930, which will undoubtedly later explain his obsessive taste for the “Roaring Twenties”. A strange itinerary for this painter who in fact drove, with a equal passion, a double career: that of painter and that of professor. In 1939, he was a tax clerk, like Douanier Rousseau. At the same time, he took drawing lessons in Montparnasse, in the Atelier Lesbounit and prepared to become a professor of Plastic Arts. In 1953, he was appointed Professor at the City of Paris. In 1970, he was appointed professor at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Appliqués et des Métiers d’Art in Paris. He is recognized for his work on the psychology of shapes and colors, on which he has worked since 1954, which later earned him the promotion of associate professor. During all this time, he never stopped painting, despite a few interruptions inherent to his educational activities and a few orders from the State (communities or personal) for frescoes and tapestries. He paints and exhibits in France and abroad. His painting? His Masters of thought were very diverse: from the surrealists to the classics, from Magritte to Titian, from Delvaux to Rubens. As he himself concludes: "In my life, I have had three passions: Painting, Women and Teaching." His works are scattered in private collections in Paris, Brussels, Berlin, London, Geneva, Milan , Venice, New York, Rio de Janeiro, Tokyo, etc...
