WRITING SET 1900 ART NOUVEAU GOLDEN METAL AND GLASS BY JC VICKERY M1268This writing set is made up of glass elements, it was distributed by J.C. Vickery, a fine jewelery and luxury leather goods store opened in 1890 in London. The glass elements are decorated with gold metal. Everything is beautifully crafted, with caduceus, monograms. The quality is there. In a correct state of conservation, we report friction and wear of use on the box with small tears, stains on the interior fabric. Note for the feathers and accessories, pitting on the metal, wear to the gilding, scratches on the glass. Erasers and pad are worn. Note also that the smallest pen has the broken glass handle (visible in the photos), however it remains a beautiful collector's item.
