Magnificent and uncommon, large vase or jar without a lid, Khabia, handcrafted ceramic/earthenware, hand-painted Morocco, Fez. Antique from the late 19th to early 20th century. Tall shape with a tapered base and upper body, rounded globe top, short and narrow neck. White earthenware, hand-painted with traditional geometric and floral motifs, stylized, very fine, monochrome cobalt blue. Stunning detail work. 31cm in height, approximately 17cm maximum diameter, 10cm at the neck and minimum. Very good condition, 4 flaws at the neck, possibly original (cooking support perhaps) somewhat visible. Some manufacturing flaws, stains, bubbles, and a few minor discreet wear marks at the base of the foot. Approximately 2.5-3kg.
