Description

Beautiful large brass fruit bowl, antique from the 30s-40s, in art deco/art nouveau style, on a pedestal with a flared bowl and a narrower base. Repoussé frieze on the edge of the bowl featuring lovely butterflies and flowers, details of grooves/geometric patterns on the edge of the base and the lower part of the bowl. Height 19.5cm, maximum diameter 20cm. Overall condition satisfactory, some oxidation, traces and remnants of silver plating, a few scratches. Weighs approximately 150g.
