Chair Kohn No. 301 known since 1910 in upholstered or conventionally caned versions, but here we present the 301 version with "sun" caning from 1926, as visible in the Kohn catalog (then under the aegis of Thonet Mundus). The same version is in the book by Jiri Uhlir from 2021. We regret the lack of cane in some rays of the sun (see photo), but the overall caning remains in its original patina. We discovered it in its original house, with a sadly damaged cushion covering the simple seat of this chair. Third label of Kohn, stamp from Slovakia.
