jewelry box / Early 19th Century Mercury Authentic Marquetry Necessaire Wood. This is a very beautiful box of the chest type, probably intended to be a jewelry box or a sewing necessaire, dating from the early 19th century (Empire / Restoration period, around 1810-1840).
External Characteristics
