This two-tone bar brooch from the Art Deco period, dating from around 1920, is made of 14-karat gold, tested with acid and stamped 585, see last photo. It features a face in white gold set with diamonds and profiles in yellow gold. As was often the practice to ensure better durability than gold, the pin is made of metal. The piece is adorned with three brilliant-cut diamonds, with a central stone of approximately 0.10 carat and two side diamonds of about 0.01 carat each.
